  1. Overview

Getting Started - Installation

Peniwallet is available as a mobile app for users and via a web dashboard for developers looking to list their project details in our wallet:

If you are a user, download the Peniwallet app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Amazon App Store or Uptodown App Store.

If you are a project developer, you can list your token by accessing the Developer dashboard here

Creating a New Wallet

  1. Launch the App: Open Peniwallet on your device.

  2. Select ‘Create New Wallet’: Follow the on-screen instructions.

  3. Set a Password: Create a strong password to protect your wallet.

  4. Enable Notifications: Allow Peniwallet to send notifications to stay updated on wallet activities.

  5. Backup Your Seed Phrase: Securely write down the 12-word seed phrase provided. This is crucial for wallet recovery.

Importing an Existing Wallet

  1. Select "Import Wallet": On the main screen.

  2. Enter Your Seed Phrase: Input the 12-word seed phrase or private key from an existing wallet.

  3. Set a New Password: For added security within Peniwallet.

  4. Complete Setup: Follow any additional prompts to finalize the import.

Some wallets (like Trust Wallet or MetaMask) let you create multiple addresses under one seed phrase. If you’re importing just one of those addresses into Peniwallet, make sure to copy the private key for the specific wallet address you want to import.

Understanding how Peniwallet works

  1. Each wallet you create in Peniwallet has its own unique seed phrase, separate from your other wallets.

  2. Be sure to copy your seed phrase for every wallet that you create on Peniwallet before uninstalling the Peniwallet app..

  3. If you lose the seed phrase for any of your wallets, there is no way to recover that particular wallet.
